We ensure that our team members—including our organisation's leadership—reflect the communities where we do business.

Robust support across the world

We provide a structured way for team members to connect with peers who share similar backgrounds, life experiences and interests through our local diversity teams and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). 

We provide formal coaching and mentorship programmes to ensure that everyone has the resources to be successful in their role. 

Our global DEI councils and forums drive honest dialogue on the issues we all face. Guiding the DEI councils are three foundational pillars—talent and opportunity, inclusive culture and community engagement—which the teams seek to address in order to remove barriers that could limit our ability for true diversity, equity and inclusion. 

We educate all team members through a DEI curriculum that empowers them to share their experiences and backgrounds so others can learn, grow and expand their understanding of the lived experiences of others.

Walking the walk

We extend our dedication to diversity, equity and inclusion by partnering with national organisations, as well as getting involved with events at the local level. 

Our ROAD Forward initiative, announced in 2020, is a $55 million, five-year pledge to support organisations that advance social and racial equity in our communities. The funds aim to help young people in underserved communities by addressing social and racial equity gaps in three key areas: early childhood development, youth health and wellness, and career and university preparation. 

From Veterans Day celebrations to LGBTQ parades, we participate in events throughout the year to support groups that reflect our team members' makeup. 

We believe in being part of the communities we serve. That means developing business and supplier relationships with minority, woman, veteran and LGBTQ-owned businesses in the areas we operate.
