Well done! You’ve made it past the application and phone screen, and now you’re getting ready for your virtual interview with Enterprise Mobility. The virtual interview is a more in-depth expansion of the phone screen and is a great opportunity for you to tell us all about your experience, which will allow us to assess your knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours relevant to the role you are applying for.
The virtual interview will be competency-based, lasting 30-40 minutes, and will be conducted by one of our friendly recruiters.
Preparing for the Virtual Interview
You probably have a great understanding of who we are, but there’s no harm in finding out more. You might know when we were founded or the names of our business lines, but do you about our 8 founding values, and what sets us apart as the Graduate Employer of the Year?
You should think about all of your experience in preparing for the virtual interview. Work experience (including part-time work and internships), university projects, extra-curricular activities like sports and societies will all play a huge part in giving the best example when asked a question. It’s important to remember that the person conducting your interview has been in your position, so they’ll understand the nerves and the process you’re going through.
How to stand out
While you might be in the comfort of your own home, it is important to look the part. Just like you would if you were heading to an in-person interview, make sure you dress to impress. This will also boost confidence and mindset, helping you feel more prepared. Communication is key throughout all stages of our application process. It’s important to express enthusiasm, so make sure your voice sounds like you’re excited and interested in the role. Asking thoughtful questions tells the recruiter that you’ve done your research.
